Description
Omnacortil 5 is a corticosteroid medication containing Prednisolone as its active ingredient. It is used to treat various inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune conditions by suppressing the immune system and reducing swelling and redness.
How it Works:
It mimics naturally occurring hormones (glucocorticoids) in the body to block chemical messengers that cause inflammation and to lower the overactive immune response.
Usage Instructions
Administration: It should preferably be taken with or after food to avoid stomach upset.
Consistency: Take the medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Discontinuation: Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly. Withdrawal must be gradual under medical supervision to avoid an “adrenal crisis” or worsening of symptoms
